"Achieving Energy Savings is Easier Than You Think"

Great, you are well on your way to taking the right steps in reducing your energy

Second Step:
By studying the power consumption readings for the different zones and plant within a building, a site Energy Manager or a
Trend Expert would be able to identify where energy waste is occurring and take appropriate remedial action, such as making adjustments to the BEMS's control parameter settings.

The installation of additional electricity sub-meters is a prerequisite for gaining an accurate picture of how energy is being used within a building. Sub-metering is set to rise as new climate change legislation begins to bite, which will bring a renewed focus on measuring and managing energy consumption.

Global Building Controls can help you meet these demanding legislative requirements.
We Specialise in the supply & installation of all Trend products and as an approved & highly respected Trend partner, we aim to provide our customers with the flexibility they need, whilst maintaining a value for money service.

Third Step:
Consider the use of free cooling, by the introduction of new damper control logic for your AHU's & employ a BMS Specialist to analyse & fine tune your systems to make optimum use of demand driven strategies or if the building is suitable, consider the use of Trend's new "Natural Ventilation Controllers", Download the brochure to find out more: Natural Vent Brochure

Fourth Step:
After fitting lower energy lamps, consider the use of extending your BEMS to control the lighting & even turn off local fan coils & heating zones when areas of of the building are unoccupied. Trend have a range of Lighting controls & occupancy sensors to fit the bill & GBC are only a phone call away to lend a helping hand.
