Global Building Controls are seeking a BMS Project Engineer:

Due to recent expansion after securing a unique project, we are seeking a highly experienced & motivated project engineer/manager who can meet with the following criteria:

Technical ability to design, engineer and commission Trend building management systems from sometimes limited or conflicting information. This will include on site commissioning, managing internal engineering staff and various sub-contractors.

Have the ability to 'think outside the box' and be open to new ideas and suggestions.
Be self motivated alongside the ability to work well within a close-nit team and to inspire others.
Take ownership of problems and issues until they are resolved.
Have a good structured approach to tasks with efficient management of time.

The ideal candidate should have the following level of experience:

Have 5+ years of design, engineering and commissioning of Trend building management systems.
Have a valid Trend Expert accreditation card/certificate.
Have a good working knowledge of electrical control panels, design and modifications.
Have 2+ Years of project management ability including:
  
    Management of multi disciplined teams.
    Project budget control and price negotiations.
    Successful project delivery under rigid deadlines.
    Exceeding client expectations.

2+ years of TCP/IP networking experience and knowledge of employed technologies (such as RSTP)
Trend 963 design and engineering at a low level.

Distinct Advantages:

Microsoft .net programming experience.
Scripting abilities in various languages.
Modbus and BACnet experience, particularly with the Trend XNC products.
Tridium product and engineering experience.......
